Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers very spacious and clean rooms with very comfortable mattresses, ideal for a pleasant stay. The service was exceptional, with attentive and understanding staff. While the location was convenient for travelers in a hurry, it could be noisy due to nearby traffic. The dining experience was satisfactory but could use some improvement. Overall, a value-for-money stay with some minor drawbacks.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were very nice and not outdated, offering a comfortable stay. However, the first impression was not so great as the cleanliness seemed questionable in some areas, especially on the first level. The hotel's location, while convenient to nearby shops and restaurants, was quite noisy due to the busy street nearby. On the bright side, the dining experience was enjoyable thanks to the free continental breakfast and the overall value for money was decent.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were spacious and equipped with both a comfortable swivel chair at the desk and a lounge type chair, making it super relaxing. However, there were some issues like a wet spot and unpleasant odors when I arrived, and the bathroom needed renovation. The service was a mixed bag, with the staff going above and beyond to correct a reservation error but also opening our door without permission. The location, though convenient next to the highway, was a bit cramped for dining. The dining options, while adequate for a quick bite, lacked variety, especially with limited fruit choices. The facilities were kept stocked, but there were some maintenance issues. Overall, a stay with its ups and downs.
The hotel had a few drawbacks like filthy rooms and a smoky smell, but the service was surprisingly good. The location was convenient despite being close to a cemetery. The dining experience was underwhelming, and the facilities were average.
Upon arrival at our room, it had a comfortable and spacious Motel 6 feel with pleasant furnishings. While clean and welcoming overall, there were some issues such as a wet spot near the door, occasional urine odor, and a bathroom in need of refurbishment. The staff promptly addressed our room change to a non-smoking one after encountering a lingering cigarette smell from the previous guests. The location, despite some noise from the busy area with semi trucks, was conveniently close to the freeway, Santa Barbara, and the beach. The dining experience, albeit more minimal than expected, offered a decent selection including waffles, cereal, muffins, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, and juices. Facilities were good overall, however, the security issue and proximity to the freeway were slight concerns.
